WBTC has been integrated into USDD on TRON through the launch of WBTC Vaults, introducing a new option for Bitcoin holders to access DeFi while continuing to hold Bitcoin exposure.
In current market conditions, users often face a tradeoff between holding Bitcoin and deploying capital into yield strategies. This integration is designed to enable both within a single framework by using WBTC as collateral to mint USDD.

The WBTC Vault enables users to deposit and collateralize WBTC and access DeFi without selling their Bitcoin. Minted USDD can then be deployed across supported strategies, allowing BTC to remain as underlying exposure while capital is utilized elsewhere.
The addition of WBTC introduces a widely used tokenized Bitcoin asset into the USDD collateral base. This expands beyond TRX, sTRX and USDT and contributes to greater diversification and resilience at the protocol level.
USDD introduces two vault configurations:
WBTC-A: minimum 150% collateral ratio, 2.5% stability fee, 1000 dust limit
WBTC-B: minimum 130% collateral ratio, 3.5% stability fee, 2500 dust limit
With two vault options available, users can tailor their approach, selecting the setup that best fits their desired risk level and strategy. Position may be subject to liquidation if collateral ratios fall below required thresholds.
WBTC enables direct participation in the USDD Vault through a simple onchain process. Users can connect their wallet, deposit WBTC as collateral, and mint USDD within the vault interface.
For users holding WBTC on other networks, WBTC can be moved to the TRON network via supported cross-chain solutions or swap for WBTC on supported DEXs before interacting with the vault.
Once deposited, WBTC continues to represent underlying Bitcoin exposure while enabling access to onchain liquidity through USDD.

The integration reflects a broader trend of incorporating tokenized BItcoin assets into DeFi systems.
WBTC continues to be used as a standard form of tokenized Bitcoin, supporting DeFi access and broader participation across onchain markets.
